We view the role of God's people as being His presence in the earth, reaching out with love to those around us. As pastor, I have a responsibility and a strong desire to keep us right in the middle of what God has for us as a contemporary church. The vision the Lord has given is to be an active part of what He is doing on the earth by being an active part of what he is doing here in Aurora.

Our strategic purpose is in working together to bring the light into darkness - meeting the needs in the world around us with the love, forgiveness, and restorative power of a very real and actively interested creator.

The key to our approach (and that of the Vineyard as a whole) is what John Wimber called 'doin the stuff.' We seek to model our approach after that of Jesus - moving in the supernatural power of God to bring restoration into the lives of those we touch. A meeting with God is not just a purely intellectual understanding, but it is a real encounter with the maker of all things.

In all this, our main desire is to bring people to our loving father God so that they are profoundly changed by knowing Him. Come as you are and check us out...
